为抗击Coronavirus (COVID-19)捐款



The topic of the competition for primary school candidates is Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Hot in Life, 生活中的酸···(candidates could focus on just one of the four aspects), and the topic of the competition for secondary school candidates is “Are Computer games Good or Bad for Teenagers’ Growth?” (电脑游戏对青少年的成长有益?有害?)
Requirements: 1. speech contents creation should be based on the topic of “Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Hot” for primary school candidates and “Are Computer Games Good or Bad for Teenagers’ Growth?” for secondary school candidates; 2. speech contents should be original and the speech language should be mandarin; 3. time limit of speech is two to three minutes.   

Our response to the containment of COVID-19 pandemic

CLTAV Executive Committee has the following decisions in our response to the containment of COVID-19 pandemic. All the CLTAV activities planned up to August would be cancelled or postponed.
They include:

The Chinese Talents' Competition for Primary Schools in May;

Hanyuqiao (Chinese Bridge) Competition at the end of May;

Members' Outing to Aloywn Gardens at Yarra Valley in April; and

Global Village Bilingual Speaking Competition in July.

We still intend to run the Chinese Cultural Day in early August or postpone it to September if the situation of Coronavirus becomes better in early June. Otherwise, we have no choice but to cancel it as well.

Tonight was a another wonderful evening for the new VCE teachers. There was around 40 Chinese teachers who attended the VCE workshop for new Chinese teachers. Everybody learnt a lot and enjoyed themselves at the end with pizzas. Many thanks to you Jixing and Ha Wei for their generosity  imparting their knowledg

Hanyuqiao Compeition

The CLTAV & TASMANIA 2017 Hanyuqiao Speaking and Performance Competition for Second Language students of Chinese is a free competition designed to select the best two or three senior students from Victorian and Tasmanian schools to take part in the 11th International Hanyuqiao Chinese Competition in Kunming in October 2017. On the May 26th- 汉语桥比赛  was conducted at Melbourne Grammar School during 6.30-9.30 p.m.

Language Perfect 2017

Congratulations to Koonung Secondary College, the winners of the Language Perfect World Championships CLTAV Award for the Top School for Chinese in the CLTAV network for 2017! The students earned 61,475 points in Chinese to place first in our network.  They have worked hard to produce an OUTSTANDING result!
