The Department has recently released on its FUSE website a series of Digital Stories showcasing Best-practice in Languages education in Victorian schools.

The eight videos showcase a range of innovative, whole-school approaches to the provision of high-quality and sustainable Languages programs, delivered by a range of government primary and secondary schools. Each digital story features the principal and key staff outlining the unique features of their high-quality languages program, including how Languages education has become an integral part of the school’s curriculum.

Information about the digital stories will also be showcased at an upcoming Principal Regional Conference as stimulus for school leadership teams to consider whether the models may assist in strengthening their own schools’ language program.

There are the Digital Stories on thewebpages below and can be used by language teachers as models of best practice, but also as stimulus for principals and school leadership teams to examine their own school Language programs to see whether any of the models showcased may assist in strengthening their own language programs.
